About Us - Canadian LC-MS Group
The Canadian LC-MS Group was initially called Toronto LC-MS Discussion Group. It was founded by Dr. Fabio Garofolo under the Calibration and Validation Group (CVG) in 2002 to respond to the need for LC-MS activities in the scientific community of Greater Toronto Area.
The Group activities focus on:
- Fostering innovation & implementation in Mass Spec field by inviting “TOP” lecturers
- Promoting exchange of knowledge and sharing of ideas on Mass Spec topics (Pharmaceutical, Environmental, Forensic and Applied Science)
- Providing a fair forum to discuss Mass Spec issues in industrial, academic, and governmental fields
- Getting to know fellow colleagues from different organizations
- Learning, through our Sponsors, about recent developments in Mass Spec related techniques and instrumentations.
All-year round events are attended routinely by our members from Canadian Industry, government, and academia.
